I’m the youngest sibling and my cousins are either older than me or the same age so I never really interacted with anyone a whole lot younger than me and I feel so awkward around children now as an adult 😭

If it makes you feel better Im the eldest, and so I’ve been around tons of kids and I’m still hella awkward around younger people.

for me i just talk to them normally except without my usual swearing LOL. i try to ask them questions/take an interest in their answers and give genuine compliments. if they're really small like babies/toddlers usually just letting them play w toys and engaging when they want me to
