maybe im different my mom and grandma been talking about they’re sex life and periods since we were kids 😭. my grandma used to always come around drunk telling us about the guys she hooked up with and how sex felt for women.

for me the video wasn’t traumatizing, it was very calm, i think it was different from the main video ppl end up seeing. it didn’t teach enough. my mom also wasn’t properly educated on periods. she bought me bladder pads instead of period ones, and they said up to 12 hour relief, so i thought i was supposed to change them every 12 hours. i was shamed for that, which made me terrified to ask more questions. sex ed needs to be properly educational, while also not encouraging shame for not knowing

I’m so sorry 🥺🫶🏻. I’m the opposite, I started puberty around 6 & got my period at 9 in the beginning of 4th grade while in class. Thankfully my mom saw that my body was changing and what I needed to expect, so when it happened I wasn’t freaking out & I knew what to do

I got mine in 5th grade a year later. Tell say you’ll bleed but never how much I thought I was dying 😂😂
