Sounds like he experienced his first heartbreak. Good on you for getting on and finding your stride. It might take him much longer, and depending on how he is as a person might not want to give over your stuff, at least not as readily as you do his. Give him a few days but also give him a deadline if it seems his not budging. Call his mom abt it lol. J seems the breakup hit much harder for him or he’s really bad a coping with it

2/2, I told him that I have all his shit packed up and ready to drop it off/exchange our things. He literally still hasn’t taken Instagram pictures down, and the last thing he said to me was that “no I’m not fucking ready, I’m really overwhelmed.” Like. It’s like he’s rejecting a breakup. Wtf do I do ???

I’m giving him some time (hence not talking til Monday), and I haven’t gone entirely public (haven’t told my classmates about it bc it’s personal), but like. I’ve gotten back to living my life. Starting back up my OWN hobbies and such. Genuinely wtf do I do. Give him more time?? And then send a text like hey wtf? 😭 politely obviously

This genuinely makes sense and thank you for this insight so much. It’s lowk funny you said this bc wow perspective, he broke up with his last 2 girlfriends because they cheated on him, and he’s 25, had a hard time finding jobs while we’ve been together and still lives w his parents, so I could literally easily call his mom if it ever came to it. This definitely is his first heartbreak (maybe 2nd if he truly loved one of the other girls), but definitely is harder to get over me because I didn’t
