No it’s definitely not the main factor but someone who’s mean is insecure about something, often times it’s looks, if not then it’s their personality or skill level in something

Sure a lot of it is insecurity but there’s also other factors like home life and personal issues. This whole narrative makes it seem like non conventionally attractive girls are mean. I’ve found conventionally attractive girls are WAY meaner. It’s annoying and everyone focuses way too much on looks nowadays. A person is a person not their looks. A mean girl is a mean girl not an ugly girl
