DONT DO IT, i have layers and braiding all the way makes it impossible, hair always sticks out and the braids start to fall out after 30 minutes so it's not a secure style unless I make the bottoms into space buns 😔

As someone with layers it really depends on what you want, I also personally think braids can also look cute with the hair sticking out sometimes idk it adds character to the hair in my mind. If you want your hair to look more voluminous then get them. It really depends on how you wear your hair

that’s what i’ve been seeing on tik tok😪 GAH like yes i’d survive without braids if i got layers but i literally put my hair in a braid or two like every week 😭
