Right and it would be different if it wasn’t a direct romanticization of pedophilia but the whole film felt like the producers and everything wanted it to normalize or romanticize those relationships instead of bring awareness or call it out

I’ve seen so many edits of the movie on tik tok and clips of it, it’s def the movie. And if this post is referencing all that Sabrina carpenter stuff I’ve been seeing people talk about that’s 100% the movie.

i don’t think it’s a movie everyone has seen by any means, i haven’t, the concept of lolita is probably better known from the book because it’s classic literature. the way people are familiar with pride & prejudice but might not have seen an adaptation.
