I don’t get emotionally attached to men and enjoy hooking up and “using them for my satisfaction” so I’d be a hypocrite otherwise. I think it’s weird if they inherently see women as objects for sex, but a man is allowed to enjoy a hookup with a random just like I can. I think it’s fucked up to lie about your intentions but as long as you don’t lie then what is wrong about doing what you want with enthusiastic consent?

I find it weird when anyone objectifies anyone without explicit communication beforehand actually. I gave context that applies to all ppl. There are situations where it’s weird when a man or woman does something weird. There are situations where anyone can be chill and deserve to be treated as as such regardless of their gender. I’m not better than a man for how I was born. I’ve actually met plenty of men who taught me how to be a more accepting person. I’ve met women who did the opposite

I think that given the historical oppression women have received and the amount of shame that was hammered into us for wanting to enjoy sex, the context is very different so it’s always weird when a man does it

So you’re saying that black men haven’t had historical oppression? Or queer men (or which still includes men attracted to women)? Or other marginalized men…I’m a black woman and ngl I’d consider a black man significantly more oppressed than a white woman especially if the white woman wasn’t poor. And the groups I’ve mentioned specifically dealt with oppression in every way including due to their sexual orientation and expression

Also there are women that fetishize certain races and some that fetishize gay/bi men, and in both cases that’s an extremely weird and disgusting action women can take. There are women who like minors too. My mother actually SA’d me but does that not matter cause she was a woman and not a man?

I think you’re wrong to consider men of any race to be more oppressed than a woman of any race. Black men were property in America from the 1600s to the 1800s. Women have been property of their male family members to be bought and sold for clout or money from the Middle Ages into the 80s.

If you really think black men in America stopped facing serious issues/limitations/concerns after the 1800s then I think we’re operating under completely different worldviews and I can’t engage with this seriously. All this tells me is you don’t understand the seriousness and impact of racism😭 And as a black woman I feel very unsafe around you. A lot more than I would around a black man or even a white man who understands how interconnected all forms of oppression are

Well considering back then a woman pretty much had to be married and had no recourse of raped, beaten, mistreated or killed. Fathers would sell their daughters for a dowry, and they had no rights. It wasn’t much different.

Women didn’t get the right to vote until 1920. Black men received a legal right to vote in 1870. They had barriers and threats that scared them out of voting but so did women.

There were black senators and governors from southern states being elected by black men before women could even vote
