i spent most of my childhood with my dads parents while mine worked and they are from outside the triangle in bahama i think they’re why

i love it too and it’s been so thick recently for me 😭 when i was little i hid it cuz none of my friends have an accent but since ive gotten with my bf who’s from kinston the drawl has been making appearances more and more

Its so bad I feel like they think im making fun of them when i accidentally copy an accent since mine isn’t too noticeable unless im talking to someone who also has one 💔💔
