trying to curl my hair with my new hot brush and it genuinely is kicking my ass because why doesn’t this work

Is that what it’s called? I’ve been calling it a “brush hair dryer” for so long :,) either way it genuinely does not work for curls. The most I can get it to do is swoop my ends in/out, even curlers right after didn’t do anything :/

ugh that’s awful to hear I was so excited about it too… I just don’t know how to style my hair and I’ve been trying to avoid actual curling irons lol.

Is it because of the heat or just too difficult to use? If it’s the difficulty, I’ve had a ton of luck with an automatic curling iron (where you drop your hair in the top and it spins). If you spray a little hair spray on it and brush it through before you curl it holds all day

I just don’t entirely know how to use them to achieve the style I want lol.. I have something similar to a would cut with super long layers and not sure how to achieve that ‘blow out’ kind of look without getting just a normal curl if that makes sense? I’ll have to check out the automatic ones though!

I was curling my hair most when I had a DIY wolf cut!! The curls look so much cuter with the layers and extra volume. Seriously recommend the automatic curler! Then you can flip your head upside down and brush through it to make the curls looser and more blown out
