it’s so weird scrolling through social media. one video is a couple cooking. the next is a starving family begging for help. and we just scroll past?? like idk it all feels so evil. i feel so helpless. i donate when i can, but i don’t even know if that does any good at this point.

it’s like you either get through the days by being numb to it and feel the guilt from that or you allow yourself to grieve and feel isolated because the people around you don’t feel it the same way

it’s devastating. all i know for sure is that donating makes the quickest and biggest difference, it actually puts food in their stomachs. and with israel announcing the news that they are officially going to occupy palestine i just feel so lost. but i try to keep going despite the hopelessness because if those who came before me stopped fighting when they felt like hope was lost, we would never be where we are now
