How do I break up with a bf of 1.5 years when u realize that he’s just not the one? Like, he hasn’t done anything wrong, I just don’t see a life with him. I don’t want to break his heart but I can’t stay 🙁

I just got out of a 5 year relationship where the past 3 years I was pretty sure he wasn’t “the one”. I regret that it took me so long to end things :/ do it asap

Ok sorry 😅 uh… just let him know you care about him, but you realized you’re going on different paths, or are incompatible, or something just doesn’t feel right. Whichever is most honest. Let him know you don’t want to string him along, so now that you’ve realized this, you’re breaking it off. Wish him well. Idk.
