only time i’ve ever actually hated on a girl for her appearance was after she told me i should’ve lost more weight when i told her abt my ED, i had just gotten back from treatment and def was still not in the best mental state

if it’s about things like clothing or stuff that can be changed easily, it’s fair game. ex maga hat. but what if you’re calling a racist ugly and they have someone who looks identical to them who’s not. like no i’m talking don’t comment on physical appearance period

i mean hot take but i feel like her actions were shitty enough to stand alone. you didn’t need to bring her physical attributes into it for fodder. there isn’t necessarily a connection between how conventionally atttactive someone is and their morality so like i don’t get it

just say they have an ugly personality then. you don’t have to actually call them ugly. i just feel like the more us women call each other ugly and mock each others appearances, the more men feel like they have a right to. if someone is acting badly, you should be able to stand on that alone as a reason to dislike them appearance aside

okay but being racist towards me is ALSO coming for anyone who looks like me, as well as holding up dangerous and violent rhetoric that has killed/harmed my ancestors before me. like racism is such a deeper issue. at the end of the day too, features/beauty is subjective. no two people really look alike, and at least for me, you actions genuinely taint how i look at you. i was agreeing with you before but i think now you’ve lost me champ.

i think a person acting racist is enough to condemn them in my eyes without needing to drag their physical appearance into it. i’m seeing a lot of people say “oh but when they act bad it makes them ugly to me” and i kind of get that but then why not just say they’re acting bad that should be enough conventional beauty standards shouldn’t have anything to do with it
