Does it make me a terrible person that i get upset when my boyfriend goes and hangs out with his friends and i am just at home bc i have struggled to make friends since we have moved. like i am not upset with him i just am upset bc i feel alone in a sense

Valid, I moved to my bfs college town and now his home town, he always has friends and I only have his friends which isn’t the same at all. Making friends as an adult is hard especially when you’re commuting to work

Yeah girl but “finding things to do” doesn’t put you in a situation to make friends especially in today’s day and age. If you go to a coffee shop nobody is looking to chat with strangers they’re on their computers. If you go on a hike there’s the stranger danger aspect. Connecting with people outside of school or work is difficult because we’re trained to actively avoid interaction and keep to ourselves as to not bother others

I didn’t consider it snarky so I’m sorry for that, I guess she could go do yoga or find a like minded community on Facebook or something? Just never got a chance to say it
