Ppl don’t understand. Once you get the older people out of here, once they leave, the South will change.

Honestly even the old people are turning their backs on Trump. I think the bigots are just a lot louder than the others

while this is partially true, lots of those ignorant and uneducated old people raise children and grandchildren who think just like they do. i go to school in oklahoma and the amount of young adults on campus that echo their parents views is insane

That’s true too, and the crazy part is those young adults feel like they cannot do their own research, or they blame how they were raised for the way they think, and I’m like, you’re an adult now. You should see how the young people are in Tennessee. They are just as bad as the old people, and young adults are gonna get old too, and they’re going to try and influence the next generation.

yes exactly it’s a continuous cycle. part of me wants to be hopeful but hearing the awful things that these young adults are saying makes me feel like there’s no hope. some anti abortion people came to campus yesterday and someone posted on our college yikyak and said that they were pro abortion but only for black people. like it’s so concerning that someone even has a thought like that pop into their heads, but to say it?? then for others to upvote it?? i give up
