he was a part of a floatilla traveling to palestine to provide essential aid. his ship and crew were illegally kidnapped by israel and chris smalls was beaten and choked far worse than any other person onboard, he was also the only black person.

well the floatilla was illegally kidnapped. they weren’t in israel. they fully expected it to happen though. he was released now but yes the racism was the reason he was kept so long and brutally beaten is because he’s black. its also fucked up bc they were literally just trying to get food and medical supplies to starving palestinians

But isn’t it kind of like common sense that they don’t want food and medical supplies to get to them? And even if the food and medical supplies does get to them Israel will take it away and most likely shoot them

yeah. they fully expected to get kidnapped. that’s why chris smalls made a video ahead of time and then it was posted when they got kidnapped. greta thunberg did the same thing. the purpose of doing it is having hope that they’ll get there/making a statement.
