AITA for getting frustaeded at my bf that I sometimes feel like his mom? He works the later end of the week and I work the earlier end (day v night too) and I feel like half the time I come home from work I’m just cleaning and cooking for him

Like I just worked 8-7 and I come home and there’s dirty dishes and stuff all over the counters and towels on the floor and on my furniture. Mind you this is MY house not OUR house. I got home and started cleaning everything and I feel like this is something he should’ve done not me.

I thought him and I had an agreement he’d do the dishes if I cook and I always cook. And now it just feels like I’m doing everything. Bc he isn’t sleeping when I’m not here, he’s playing video games in my living room

Like, I really love cooking so I prefer him not to cook at all- he’s also very boy dinner oriented so like, chili and I make Parmesan crusted zucchini and a lemon basil pasta with sauted shrimp. I love cooking so that isn’t the issue as is he isn’t cleaning the dishes or really picking up after himself. He’ll shower and there’s a towel on my floor or on my dining room table. He’s a smoker 🍃and I’m not and he’ll leave bits of it on my counters. I just feel like my space is being disrespected

girl this just made it worse for me 🫪🙏 as a serial smoker of like 3yrs, leaving butts on someone elses counter is so fucking disrespectful ✋🫪 and thats without them even being a smoker or not ✋🫪 like he is 100% disrespecting you and ur space ✋🫪 even if you like cooking, the og plan yall had was that you's cook and he'd do the dishes and he's obviously not even doing that 🤏🫪 so you either need to have a serious talk with him or just dump him imo
