I never said that. I was more so talking about people who make themselves a victim when no one was speaking of them or their issues. Victim mentality is a lot different than actually being a victim. So…

i mean “victim mentality” and being woke isn’t even the same thing. and to be even more woke, the “victim mentality” argument is typically used to delegitimize actual grievances that we should care more about such as micro-aggressions. let’s be honest, the vast majority of ppl weaponizing “victim mentality” (i.e.shaming actual victims and pretending they are victims) are usually privileged white girls who can’t even comprehend accountability.

Yeah see that’s again not what I’m talking about. Bc i know what you’re saying but im not talking about people who are legit victims. Im talking about people who weaponize victimhood. And i made that correlation between victim mentality and woke because ive seen that correlation on here many times. So yea i agree with what youre saying but thats not what im talking about

Sure I’ll use my mom. Super specific and personal but whatever. She endured many losses in her life and decided to spend 500,000 dollars on tik tok gifting and decides to act like a victim instead of being an adult and owning up to her faults. I am not and have never been speaking about people who are true victims to situations because I literally get that so hard and that’s why I’m bringing up the people who weaponize it because it is not fair to true victims

Yes I’m confused too bc I look at everything with an anti-capitalist lens and do find things wrong with most everything in our society as we live in a capitalist hellhole. I have a very critical lens and like to think deeply about even little things. Not sure how that relates to victim hood as it often doesn’t have anything to do with me
