i can’t tell if i have autism or if i just wasn’t properly socialized and therefore don’t have the social skills. growing up, i wasn’t allowed to have friends come over. i only talked to them in school. i’m not the best at holding convos but i try. idk.

autism would come with a lot more struggles than just social. but i suspect a lot of kids who are really sheltered end up that way because they haven’t had practice when it was societally acceptable to make mistakes
