What's actually worse is staying in a mediocre relationship for years on end and having it go nowhere. Being single is way better

Totally fair. Heartbreak mostly sucks bc when ur in a relationship you want to do EVERYTHING with your partner which in turn makes everything remind you of them. At least in my case 😭
