i had only my tubes removed. they put an iud in me while i was under to regulate hormones and hopefully stop bleeding. typically yes bc your ovaries and uterus are still there

That’s what getting tested regularly is for. If someone lies about their sexual health to you and has sex and you contract a disease, you can sue them and it is classified as sexual assault

That’s what blood tests do, getting tested for STDs is different for stis bc stis show in urine but blood work is more accurate

Make sure you have your doctor go through all of the risks/side effects of that procedure cuz it’s very complicated and lots of (mostly male) doctors don’t want to bother themselves going through everything

so my surgeon put the iud in me while i was under to regulate my hormones and have an extra measure. she said it would be extremely rare for me to get pregnant now even without the iud. it would be like a lifetime movie but yea that wasn’t going to be the only prevention i took
