Lysine can cause stomached or diarrhoea, yes. Does your lysine itself have kind of a strong or offputting scent? It may be a bad batch. Is yours prescribed or OTC?

No it’s always kinda done this. The smell has never been bad, as in it doesn’t reek if I open the bottle (after I realized I got a bad batch of vitamins, I think Ik what bad chemicals smell like idk tho) and are 500 mg OTC supplements from Walmart the spring valley, 2 a day on an empty stomach as it says
