the difference is that beauty standards were much more diverse than they are now, people looked like the people they were around so they werent comparing themselves to people who look nothing like them, and social media didnt exist. you missed the point!

I truly think poc features are way more attractive than white features but I’ve also seen first hand that for some reason people think white people are more attractive. It’s honestly stupid because people put so much meaning on just skin color
