I say this bc I watch a LOT of dateline and cops are AWFUL. They’ll lie about evidence, they’ll lie about witnesses. If ur ever under investigation for a crime & ask for a lawyer, don’t listen to them abt “innocent ppl don’t ask for lawyers” THEY DO

i took a psychology and law class and one article we read said they are literally trained to lie and mislead people to get whatever answer they’re looking for

Yeeeaaappp if it’s in the interest in closing a case they’ll lie their hearts out. I watched one interview where the cop basically told the guy “if u tell us XYZ you’ll get to go home”
