something that changed my perspective was something i saw on tiktok admittedly. “y’all allow men to be something they’d never allow you to be - ugly and loved” especially bc this trend is highlighting creatures who did women filthy…i reserve the right to say they’re ugly and the woman in question’s friends shouldve had a sit down with her immediately

It definitely is a southern thing. I never got beaten, but they weren’t beaten with a switch either growing up. Like what tree you getting the stick from? You’re in the Harlem projects, there’s hardly any trees around
