specifically, i like to say how cool and amazing they are, then throw in some quirky facts about myself (anything will do), say something vaguely philosophical, then say “tell me goodnight” and then when they do, don’t say anything back and then be dry for a couple days. when they want to hang out, say you’re gonna be busy and that there’s something in the way that they could feasibly fix

like you can say your car is out of gas so you can’t go, or that you have no money for dinner or something. then they’ll usually offer to fix it somehow, and then you say they’re too nice and refuse. then they’ll usually offer again if they like you, and you can accept.
