i was called an alcoholic because i only drink to get drunk. (meanwhile i happily spend all of my summers at home completely sober, often going upwards of 8 months without drinking just because i didn’t feel like it)

You’re an alcoholic when you DEPEND on it. Coming home after XYZ to drink is not dependence, it’s called relaxing and unwinding 🙏🏼

literallyyyy i got drunk on a monday and ppl were saying it was alcoholic behavior, but it was one night and it was bc i wasn’t doing anything the next day, and im having surgery soon so literally no alcohol for about a year. do i miss it? absolutely not! it was a way to celebrate my surgery
