Same!! And no yeah for me almost two years — a combo of getting stalked by my alcoholic ex bf, a sudden apathy for social media, and having two of my close friends go through a messy breakup made me weary of posting anything at all and it’s not terrible 🥳 also OP I also just graduated and literally only did a story post of me and my cat in matching caps and gowns so I feel you I don’t know that I want to post anything else or more permanent

It’s so weird cuz my sister also graduated. But I just have daddy issues like I don’t like my father. But for my highschool graduation it was indeed a shit show for many reasons but my dad showed up and then had to leave right at the end so i literally got a selfie with him, then my mom was late, then there was a plumber who has to fix a leak we had for months but he had to come this day cuz we just had to go abroad to my parents home country 2 days after graduation. My parents are from Pakistan, I loved going as a kid but now I avoid it like the plague cuz now it’s all like when are u gonna get married or like u graduated college go and settle down. So I don’t wanna go cuz I want to pursue further studies and the society there is so backwards.

WAIT STOP I’m not Pakistani but my best friend is, I’m Arab and Muslim 😭 so I know what ur talking abt. I guess I don’t know for sure if you grew up Muslim but also I don’t blame you for having some crazy impulses bc we kinda all do

And as far as dads go I wouldn’t say I have daddy issues but on the other end of the coin I don’t think my dad would share much bc I’m graduating hella late and he hates mt bf bc of his job (also doesn’t help that hes white)
