Another thing is that he’ll oftentimes prioritize his friends. For example let’s say he hasn’t called all day then finally he calls, we talk for literally maybe a minute then suddenly his friend calls him and he tells me that he needs to answer his friend and he’ll call me back. Usually he doesn’t get around to calling back…. LIKE WHO CARES YOU JUST HUNG OUT WITH THEM, what could they possibly need from you.

I think my resentment also spawns from a bit of jealousy. I’ve always had stricter parents, don’t have a lot of friends, (I have two but we never get around to hanging out). I’ve always been a homebody not by choice but because that’s what i’m used to and i have no one to really hang out with. But him on the other hand, oh, tons of friends, tons of fun plans and adventures that I can never participate in because my parents are strict. I’m 18 but i live in a hispanic household soooo

girl i feel you so much and that sucks. if you’ve already tried having a serious sit down conversation with him abt how it makes you feel, you might need to accept that this is the way he is, and ask yourself if you can handle it or if it’s even worth it
