Oh my god I don’t get to talk about this enough thank YOU. I’m a nursing student. I am genuinely so passionate about it. It sucks because most people going into this field is looking for the money. I am not!!! I took gap years to ensure this is what I wanted, and sure as shit, working in a hospital setting, getting to make ONE person feel cared for and loved. Making ONE person feel better and listened to. God it is just so validating and loving. I love it so much and I love people so much!!!!

It can just suck bc I have a hard time making friends in my program since like I said, it feels like no one truly CARES or is passionate about it they just want a good paycheck. Like I get it but damn. I give a fuck!! So many fucks !!

Thank you!! It genuinely is soo hard to find people who truly love it like I have so far :( I fear for patients in the rise of new gen nurses to a point sometimes because my classmates will complain/talk shit!! And I’m like they are literally ill just help them and listen to them!! God. Sorry for ranting far more than anyone else in the comments but yes very passionate 😭😭
