Framing this as red vs blue is missing the point — this is about humanity vs insanity. Turning it into a political argument only deepens the divide. We should be mindful of what we say and how we say it, because words truly do matter.

One party believes that gun violence is terrible and needs to be stopped. Another party believed gun violence is bad and is okay with it happening because at least they have a gun. It is a red v blue thing because the red don’t want to listen to fucking facts and lower gun death rates.

There is absolutely no way of making it not political. I can say “gun violence is bad we need to create laws to prevent it and we need more mental health care” and the right will always ALWAYS disagree
