I have been on it for maybe 6 or 9 years (I’ve had it 2 or 3 times now) and currently I find myself pretty irritable often. I get angry over little things a lot too. I never thought it could be my birth control though, I just always thought maybe it was me as a person.

Ive heard it decreases libido yeah, but im wondering more so about the mood swings

I definitely experienced weight gain as a side effect. It was so bad that the first or second time they replaced it they had to X-Ray my arm and then cut into me and dig it out. Because I had put on so much weight after the first insertion. It was awful. I almost passed out even tho it was numb.
