it’s way over diagnosed!! adderall and other stimulants are serious controlled substances and it can cause severe issues if you’re on it and you don’t have something for it to treat. they’re controlled because they’re addictive!!! i realized even when i went in to get a diagnosis that some places will prescribe it if you just pass a test. i left asap and went to a place that takes time and actually tries therapy and lower grade drugs first.

definitely! i have adhd (gotten multiple confirmations from 4 psychologists and i talked to my mom about what i was like as a kid) and it was scary easily to get a prescription… ANYOEN could answer those questions and get a script! adderall caused issues for me bc i had undiagnosed health issues but bc i was only seeing a psychiatrist and not a doctor i didn’t understand the importance of blood work and ended up losing a lot of friends that way bc i would act like a cracked out methie…

i also noticed that the over prescription led to an EXTREME degradation of quality of the drug, theres actually a subreddit about how people feel it isn’t even adderall anymore
