Trust me I understand the vehemence and experience behind your words, but to demonize and dehumanize the other side as a whole is not going to bring us together or convince anyone on the fence to back us up. I do not believe men are inherently evil. To believe that of anyone is to stomp on hope. Be wary, be careful, take your safety over their feelings, find happiness without them, statistics don’t lie, but do not push them further into the patriarchy with this kind of rhetoric.
To address OP, you are worthy and capable of being loved, regardless of who holds you in that affection. You are correct that women are usually held to overly high standards, and this can cause us to doubt and demean ourselves. To be loved is to have someone that holds you to the standard of who you already are, imo. If you want a relationship, do it after you find happiness outside of it. Being loved is not a fix-all, especially when it is already hard to know when that love is real.
