Yeah sometimes it canโ€™t be helped. Staying in my hometown without any friends to interact with made me really depressed. But forcing myself to walk to the local library to do any kind of work really helped. Then coming home and doing various chores. Just keeping myself moving and forcing myself to keep a routine really helped.

Yeah! Thatโ€™s definitely a plus! Keeping busy helps stave off the depression. Also, if you have likeโ€ฆ an interest or something that you could learn more about, or a skill you want to develop, do that! Learn a language and keep a notebook for it. Practice that musical instrument collecting dust in your closet. Take a free science course online. Thatโ€™s huge and is kind of a step above just chores in terms of productivity. Feeling productive is everything, even if youโ€™re not actually productive
