Makes no sense it allows financial protection for couples and also end of life care. The government should want it for tax reasons. WTF. Plus it’s interfering with everyone’s right to practice religion. Not everyone is abrahamic

my sister and her finance are getting married early because of it. they’ll still have the official wedding and everything next year. but they’re going to a courthouse this week. it’s so unfair.

Honestly, it’s devastating news for everyone. It’s been almost ten years since marriage equality was federally protected. Longer for the right to choose. They’re working on taking away the right to vote for married women. No one is safe, and they’re getting bolder about it
