i feel like that should be normalized? that’s only two weeks of full time work or four weeks of part-time, this gets more people into jobs no? i would consider this a reason to want to work, if able-bodied citizens aren’t going to help themselves why should the average american have to pay for that?

But why would someone decide to do that when this society never listens to reason anymore? People believe what they want to believe but being political comes with certain strings. If you say you are of a certain political party, people will think that you believe in everything they do. They will not ask for follow-ups to YOUR beliefs, they will only go off of which party you associate with. That is why it would help so much more to just not associate with them. Hope this helps!

and i fully believe that this is a problem with today’s society, we should be able to have respectful conversations regardless of which side we are on to try to better understand each other, but that’s unfortunately not the reality, i asked op a question related to my opinion and got told my opinion didn’t matter so it definitely comes from both sides
