fr and i don’t even like when women hyphenate their names and men don’t? i feel like the agreement should be for the couple to 1. pick whoever’s last name is cooler, 2. pick a cool last name they both agree on, or 3. not change their last names. The expectation fora women to take on a last name is incredibly misogynistic idk lol

If you consider DNA then we have wayyy more DNA coming straight from our mom than from our dad (mitochondrial DNA.) Yes our sex comes from sperm but that's just one chromosome out of 46.
