the only thing i’ve ever done was steal at walmart over 300 worth in things when i was 18 and it was a misdemeanor but it was in connecticut and for one year i had to get good grades and not get arrested again (easy) but after that you’re record is wiped clean like you never had anything against you, i know this bc if would’ve effected me getting other jobs too. i regret what i did and im a completely different person now.

tickets and stuff wouldn’t show up unless for some reason or another it became a misdemeanor for missing a court date. but i’m glad it’s still working out! you should look into it tho

oh sorry I commented before this one showed up, if it was sealed that wouldn’t be it either. but it also sounds like something you shouldn’t need to worry about too much

they did drop the charges it’s completely wiped out of the system

it never ever popped up on my background checks when i lived in fl. i was trish and had like 5 different jobs lol

it’s called expungement, it’s not available to any HR company or background check but is only available to the state of CT so NY can’t even access it

hmm i see this is different than a record getting sealed though. im guessing NY might just be stricter. :/

basically you can’t search me up and find it. the only people who have access is the police and they are legally not allowed to release it. if you look it up it shows i don’t have anything

oh okay if you say NY cant access it then id say its probably a glitch unless somehow they do have access to that info id just email and ask for clarity on what they saw ?

yeah i got a job here too after it happened 6 years ago and it didn’t pop up. it may be an accident

i’m 23 about to be 24. i was freshly 18 when it happened so i still got 1.5 years left till it’s fully erased. they lied to me, the judge said it was but i guess according to google and the website it takes 7 years

i would reach out and see what they say- id say very likely it’s some kind of accident glitch or coincidence.
