Omg that sounds terrible, I so sorry you’re going through that. I also think insurance in general in a scam, because what?!? “Not being able to meet your deductible”?!?? People should not have to pay ungodly amounts for treatments so they can live. Luigi was right in what he did

im also supposed to get benefits from the VA for college, i have not gotten any of my benefits for this semester (they owe me about $3k) and i never got any last semester.

I also get benefits for college from the va and it definitely took them longer to get it to me. I would talk to your va department on campus about it, because you should get what you’re owed if you filled everything out and back pay for what they were supposed to give you but didn’t

oh i’ve been there done that, the head guy at our VA department is by far the laziest man i have ever had the misfortune of talking to. i’ve been going back and forth with the education center for the VA, a representative at my in town VA center at the city hall building has been helping me, and the college one has done nothing

Hey girl idk what benefits you use (I use ch 35) and an email was sent out to everyone at my school that uses that benefit that their have been problems getting the money out because of the shutdown and that there have just been problems overall, it might be the same for other benefits as well

omg i use chapter 35 too and like apparently not a lot of people at my college use it so my va department on campus aren’t “knowledgeable” on it. my school also hasn’t sent anything out so thank you for this info 🫶
