Yea I just experienced a woman being openly homophobic (I am straight passing and she said to her friend “we shouldn’t say stuff like that, we don’t know how everyone feels around us”) around me for the first time in years

I’m still under the belief it’s really just the “silent majority” (loudest damn minority) getting even louder about their nonsense. Easier with social media where people can have multiple accounts to spread the bullshit and harass more people.

elon allowing twitter to be a free for all for the alt right means we’re just seeing more of them than before. although i do believe they’re numbers are increasing due to the higher exposure. i remember when twitter used to be woke and now it’s a cesspool of nazis
