My thing abt it isn’t the labubu itself I think they’re cute ugly and I’m a collector too it’s resellers and the over consumerism and the ppl who buy the entire stock and are going to get rid of them when they’re not trendy anymore

Coming back to say collecting should be done out of love for the thing you’re collecting. you love these things so much you just have to have them all. Not because some random person on TikTok has six and you need more than them

I definitely agree. I feel like it’s understandable to hate the way ppl overconsume an item and the customer base, especially the reseller aspect, but I feel like that’s something that affects literally every trend. The item itself isn’t the issue, it’s the culture of overconsumption that has been normalized
