I think the internet, dating apps, porn, and in general jusf the illusion of having so many options. People are obsessed with having “hoes, rosters” whatever instead of just committing to getting to know someone.

bcuz they got mad that we like gained rights lmao. we’re not as easily manipulated or influenced anymore, less malleable to their wants (aka less desirable to them bcuz they’re evil)

There’s a lot of different factors but I think porn and hookup culture are the main ones. Guys who are into hookup culture have the goal of having sex with as many women as possible instead of just focusing on loving one. And whether it’s conscious or not porn use instills the idea in men’s brains that women are meant to go away after sex and that they’re expendable

Some do but a lot less, from what I’ve seen, I do also think there probably used to be more men who just pretended to yearn because they knew that’s what we wanted
