if you don’t know how to study/how you learn best, figure it out quick. i went from never studying in high school and getting all A’s to struggling and getting a couple C’s in bio and chem bc i didn’t know how to study once i got to college

try new things even if you think it might be out of ur comfort zone. don’t skip class once unless you really need to because it becomes a regular thing. once you make friends try to do study groups and hold each other accountable for homework and projects even if they’re in other majors/years. it’s ok if you end up wanting to change ur major so many people do. don’t be afraid to reach out to your advisor, professors, and ta they’re there to help you!!!

I would genuinely have fun answering questions if you have any! I’m like the most anxiety prone person ever so no questions are bad😭

- go to on campus events, clubs, etc, and just make sure ur going to places beyond classes and ur dorm! - keep some instant food in ur dorm in case there’s bad weather and u can’t/don’t want to leave to get food - never accept an open drink from a stranger (unless they’re like a food service worker or someone else that makes sense) - know the attendance policies of all of ur classes and save ur skips until the end of the semester (u will probably need them more then) - ask for help when u need!

You’re not going to get along with everyone. You will find the people for you but it might not be in the first few weeks. Be friendly and genuine and you got this!!!

Off the bat tho, I know if I have some online classes and some in person I’ll likely neglect one format of classes, so I’d try to stick to just in person/online if you know what works for you!
