I mean sometimes people choose the middle if they can’t get the aisle so they don’t have to step over as many people to get out

That’s fair but also like if there was nobody in the middle seat they wouldn’t necessarily have to step over anyone ya know? Also there’s like 9 empty rows in the back of the plane they could have picked an aisle seat from any of those maybe?? Idk I might just be over thinking it too hard and have main character syndrome 😭
