Once people find out something big happened (considering a Ivy League was involved) then they are desperate to post about it acting “angry” for money and views. This has happened to a lot of cases. SOME people post DURING the case so it gets popular. But now that more people stopped talking about it, they stopped posting about it because it won’t get them as much views as before. I’m not saying this was everyone. People I know (including myself) are still actively spreading it.
