still a 50/50 chance at best and statistically worse since y'all were younger. not trying to be rude. i just think telling people that it's more realistic that it won't work out properly prepares them for the most likely scenario and creates less negative/toxic attachment. most hs sweetheart marriages do not work out

good for you! this post was kind of a vaguetweet/not meant to be taken 100% literally because ive noticed a trend with all my friends who have been with a partner starting during their teenage years seem like their relationships arent about compatibility but about longevity instead. ex) "weve been together for so long we must be good for each other!" meanwhile they fight every other month
