i asked my dad (camera hobbyist) to help me find a $200 lens for my film camera (i said i'd pay for it, i've been saving). he said he had no money and them sent me a pic of his new eqs he bought that same day 😭

no literally. like my parents help me out as much as they can, but they also just bought a boat. like legit a small yacht. and i’m happy for them bc they’ve wanted it for so long but selfishly i’m like come on

My parents go on 4-5 international vacations a year and I only eat once a day because I can’t afford both rent and groceries 🥲

My dad just bought a whole new car with a super charger in it and won't pay for my tuition that my mother pays on her own. And he gets all mad when I bring it up saying he is paying for it. My parents are literally separated and he doesn't pay for anything for her. Like I just hate it

my dad was upset that i needed money for groceries (i had surgery that gives specific dietary needs), but he just bought a pc AND A LAPTOP?! WHY DOES HE NEED BOTH?! HE HASNT USED ONE SINCE HE GOT THEM THEY JUST SIT THERE… but nooo me needing food to eat is unimportant
