i’m from a brown family and i don’t think i could ever yell at my mom it used to be because of fear but as i’ve gotten older it’s because i respect her and couldn’t even imagine it

I don’t yell at my mom bc she won’t hesitate to beat my ass. My brother has yelled at her though…. It didn’t go well for him.

They used to when they were in their teens/early twenties, not super often tho. I saw that and told myself I would never be like them, but I have once or twice with my mom, only bc she yelled at me first
