as a (former) pr major i can’t get over the stupid american eagle ad. like the jeans/genes word play would go hard if they really wanted to. different body types wearing different jeans? that would’ve been so much better than whatever shit that was.

Here’s the thing- I’m sure there’s a demographic of people that bought the jeans that have no idea about the ad I’m sure there’s also a group of people that bought the jeans despite the ad. But in truth, because it went live, anyone who sees someone wearing those jeans will think that person supports the ad.
