my bf thinks my Lexapro is decreasing my sex drive how do I tell him that I kind of don’t care? That’s like my only side effect and I feel better otherwise I have too many other things to worry about in my life

I was on lexapro and my ex got upset about it too and she (I’m lesbian before anyone jumps to conclusions) and it led to her questioning our relationship because she thought I wasn’t attracted to her anymore even tho I explained it. It also didn’t completely eliminate imo sex drive so I don’t get it

Honestly say that “yea it may suck that my sex drive is lower but I’m not as depressed anymore and I think my mental health is more important than how much sex I’m having and that’s nothing on you, you did nothing it’s just how it is”

that’s basically what I said, but I still feel bad about it sometimes because I know sex for him is a way that he feels close to me, but he also would never pressure me so that kind of puts it on me to initiate which I’m not great at especially with my lowered drive

yeah, he just is a bit insecure so he feels like I might not be attracted to him even though I am, but we are also long distance which makes it even harder

If youre long distance he has got nothing to complain about. It’s not like he’s physically getting any AND YOU ACTUALLY FEEL GOOD. My ex and I lived together so I guess it was a bit different but yeah fuck your bf and if he doesn’t understand your happier now then he can be cut loose cause tf? He should be supporting you and understand how important it is
